The Gîtes

D'Artagnan - Aramis - Athos and Porthos

Our pretty gites just across the lawn from the pool are named after the Musketeers – D’Artagnan, Aramis, Porthos and Athos who all came from this area.

The gites contain all the essentials for a self-catering holiday including linen, and towels and a complimentary “welcome pack” with some groceries and wine, which we provide to get you off to the easiest of starts.

Each gite has satellite TV/Radio and receives multiple stations including all BBC and ITV channels. A library of English books and board games are also provided in each. Outside the gites have private patios with tables and chairs

They are surround by Lassenat’s lawns, which includes the heated pool with its shower. The pool area is a natural suntrap perfect for getting that golden tan.

For al fresco dining, the Barbecue area is a matter of yards away, as is the Boules pitch, the scene of many competitive after dinner challenges.

The Lassenat Estate

Lassenat has five acres to enjoy

Our guests can enjoy the many different aspects of the Lassenat estate. The garden has a large variety of trees including peach, apple and walnut trees for shade from the summer sun.

For cooling off from the summer heat we have our 9 x 4.5 metre swimming pool. If a golden tan is required, the pool area with its loungers and parasols is a natural suntrap.

When not sampling the cuisine of the many local restaurants, the barbecue area proves popular for al fresco dining, and competitive games of Boules often materialise in after-dinner challenges.

We have a natural woodland area with an oxbow lake. It’s perfect for walks, picnics and fishing – but bring your own rod.

You might come across grazing deer, you probably will see nightingales, kingfishers, herons and the buzzards that circle above Lassenat are amongst the bird life that make our gardens their home.

The freshest, pollution free air blows through the Gers. You’ll see our very friendly neighbours, farmers, wine producers and Armagnac makers going about their daily business. It’s a beautiful part of France, come and discover the Gers for yourselves, we look forward to welcoming you to this special part of the world.
